A Night at the Improv:
Using Improv Comedy Techniques to Boost your Confidence and Help You Think on Your Feet

To be a successful consultant, you have to be confident in your expertise and able to think on your feet so you can respond to clients quickly and creatively.  Improv comedy is all about creativity and confidence - there is no script, so improv performers have to "make it up as they go along," in front of a live audience!

Join us for a "A Night at the Improv," which brings the techniques of improv comedy to the world of consulting.  It's a fun, interactive session that will have you thinking - and laughing - on your feet.  You'll watch improv performers demonstrate improv comedy games and then you'll get a chance to try them out yourself.  You'll get to practice essential consulting skills such as thinking on your feet, speaking confidently and communicating effectively with others.

Come prepared to learn - and laugh!

PRESENTERS:
Presented by Gilda Bonanno and members of the World Class Indifference Improv Comedy Team.

World Class Indifference is an improv comedy team which performs at Gotham City Improv in New York City and at venues throughout Connecticut.  They specialize in improv comedy in the style of Whose Line Is It Anyway? and also teach improv classes and conduct corporate workshops.   Their Fourth Annual Comedy for a Cure show in May 2009 raised over $1000 for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Team Director James Jorasch is a named inventor on more than 250 issued patents.  He is the founder of Science House, an organization dedicated to supporting science by bringing scientists and business people together to brainstorm ideas, fund new business ventures and provide grants for science education.

Founding member Gilda Bonanno is a trainer, speaker and coach who helps people sharpen their presentation and communication skills so they can solve business problems.  She is President of the Southern CT chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD-So. CT) and a member of the National Speakers Association.
